The IT Laboratory is our working process to introduce new learnings and innovations into our projects in a controlled and continuous manner. We always go through the same four steps that each filter out innovations that for some reason don't meet the demands to be introduced into our clients' businesses:
Business Intelligence
Keeping up with new technology is something very important to us. Everyone working at Iteam has a genuine interest in technology and we monitor a number of sources daily for news. We watch for everything from new gadgets such as mobile phones and home electronics to new development methods and structural changes in IT companies.
Practical Laboratory Experiment
The new technical innovations we find and think will be of potential use to us or our clients are subject to an in-depth study. Usually an internal project is started to test the technology in a practical setting and that we can use as a demo for our clients. In this part of the process we gain good knowledge of the technolgy's strengths, weaknesses and possibilities. Many new technologies never make it past this stage in our process.
Market Analysis
The next step for a successful practical lab experiment is an analysis of the technology's potential in a live business setting. We assess the benefits and popularity of the technology, the stability of its suppliers or originators - all of it to guarantee that the technology we back is future-safe.
Introduction
The innovations that meet the requirements of the analysis phase are introduced into our projects. Either we offer competence regarding the technology or we introduce it into our development platform Iteam t-rex. Read more about t-rex.
